Founded in 2017 by Emma and Stacey, Dovey & Broom was built on a shared passion for creativity, care, and high-quality hairdressing. Tucked away in the friendly market town of Romsey, we’ve created a calm, welcoming space where every client can feel relaxed, confident, and completely themselves.

We’re proud to be an exclusive Aveda salon, using naturally derived, environmentally conscious products that deliver stunning, long-lasting results. Education and innovation are at the heart of what we do — our stylists stay ahead of the curve with advanced training and a love for all things hair.

Director

With nearly 20 years of experience in the hair and beauty industry, Stacey has built a reputation not only for her technical expertise, but for her warmth, creativity and vision. Her journey started behind the chair, where she quickly developed a passion for colour, styling, and helping clients feel confident and empowered. From advanced colour training with leading brands to attending high-profile industry events, Stacey has always pushed herself to stay ahead of trends and continually elevate her craft.

As a director at Dovey & Broom, Stacey brings a thoughtful, hands-on approach to everything from client care to creative direction. She’s passionate about building a space that feels welcoming, personal, and professional — where both clients and the team feel seen and supported.

Over the years, Stacey has developed strong, lasting relationships with her clients. She’s a firm believer that good conversation is part of great service, and she’s known for turning a simple appointment into a moment of genuine connection.

When she’s not in the salon, you’ll likely find her exploring new places with her family, making memories on spontaneous adventures, or planning the next creative project for the studio.

Director

Having worked in various salon environments where I have been lucky enough to of had the oppurtunity of many London courses and advanced in salon training. With my background it gave me the chance to be involved in fashion shows and competitions

over the years I have built a lovely clientelle and friendships. I strive to keep them happy with their hair making them feel (like) a million dollars!

I love to hike in my spare time and be in the countryside with my dog. Keeping fit, healthy and strong is very important to me and also love to cook and entertain for friends and family.

Senior Stylist

I started my hairdressing journey at 16 and knew straight away I’d found my thing. I’ve worked in several high-end salons over the years and trained in all aspects of hair — from cutting and colour to styling and hair-ups. I’m all about creativity, connection, and giving every client something that feels totally them. Outside of work, I’ve got three beautiful dogs and two gorgeous girls who definitely keep me on my toes!

Assistant Manger / Senior Stylist

With nearly 20 years of experience working in high-end salons, I'm passionate about delivering beautiful, personalised hair.

Alongside salon work, I spent 10 years as a fully qualified assessor and IQA, training and inspiring the next generation of hairdressers.

I love all aspects of hairdressing, especially getting creative and creating bespoke looks tailored to each individual. My focus is always on my clients - making them feel special, confident, and truly looked after.
Outside of the salon, you'll usually find me gaming, reading, watching my favourite TV shows, or spending time with family and friends.

Senior Stylist

I love everything about hairdressing, but I’m especially obsessed with bouncy blow-dries and big colour transformations. I’m an award-winning colourist and have trained through loads of competitions and courses, which helped shape who I am today. My main goal is to help clients feel good about themselves, and I’ll always make sure you leave feeling comfortable and confident. Outside the salon, you’ll usually find me gaming, eating pizza or out in nature with my mates.
